All BR Southern region - South Western Division. The first scenes in Mike Grieves's home stations Esher and Surbiton. Otherwise various scenes between London Waterloo and Weymouth - approx. 200 km: Waterloo, Vauxhall, Clapham Junction, Surbiton, Byfleet and New Haw, Basingstoke, Southampton, Bournemouth, Weymouth. Depot Scenes London Nine Elms, Basingstoke, Bournemouth and Weymouth. At the end the last BR steam train ever from 14:07 Weymouth-Waterloo on 9 July 1967. However: At minute 2.17 the film shows a special trip in London Kings Cross with LNER ‘Flying Scotsman’.
