After having published the third volume in 2015 (covering the classes 54-59), now the fourth volume is available, which describes the classes 60-91. The classes 60 to 79 were reserved for passenger train tender locomotives, while the classes 80 to 91 comprised the majority of goods train and shunting tender locomotives. Only a few series were homogeneous - many included the most diverse locomotives of different origins, which usually only had the axle sequence in common. Also described in detail are the locomotives of the private railways nationalised in the GDR in 1950, most of which were later found in the 89 series.
